Mr Middleton checked my hip replacement and investigated the back pain that had started recently and suggested the best action to take. He was really interested in me as an individual and made me feel very good about myself.

I received excellent treatment from my very first consultation. The whole procedure was explained in great detail with all the pro's and con's and what to expect post surgery and the anticipated outcome including the level of pain. Everybody's pain threshold is very different and this wasn't sugar coated, the bruising came as quite a surprise for up to three weeks after and also the swelling. I was given the very best care during my hospital stay all the staff from the cleaners up were so caring and hopefully if I should need surgery in the future I wouldn't hesitate. I joined a Facebook page post op and have found this very helpful being connected to other people who have had surgery or are waiting as everyone's experience is very different and is a great support group I wish I had known about earlier. I had a telephone consultation recently with Mr Middleton and I am very pleased to be on the patient initiated follow-up enabling me to get in touch in the future with any worries.

Mr Middleton did a fantastic job of replacing my hip following a bicycle accident. He listened to my concerns about the problems I am having with the DHS in my other hip and gave me confidence that he could help should the discomfort become untenable. Thank you Rory!

There are very few consultants that have a very human attitude. Mr Middleton is one of them . I was extremely happy to be talked to.rather than down to. I would recommend him highly .I walked away feeling he was on my side.
